Welcome And Settle Your Breath

SPEAKER_01

Hello, and welcome to Breathe and Be. I'm Marianne, and I'm so glad you're here. Today we'll wander through a peaceful lavender farm on a warm summer afternoon. A place filled with gentle breezes, endless purple blooms, and an invitation to slow down for a little while. Find a position that feels supportive for your body. Allow your hands to rest. If you'd like, close your eyes or soften your gaze.

SPEAKER_00

Take a slow breath in and slowly let it out. Again, breathing in and breathing out. One more gentle breath in and out. Allow your shoulders to settle. Allow your jaw to soften.

SPEAKER_01

Notice the support beneath you.

SPEAKER_00

And give yourself permission to simply be here.

Opening The Gate To Calm

SPEAKER_01

Imagine yourself standing before a white wooden gate. Beyond it stretches a beautiful lavender farm. Row after row of soft purple flowers reaches toward the horizon. The afternoon sun shines brightly overhead. A gentle breeze moves through the fields, creating waves of color that ripple through the blossoms. You push open the gate and step inside. Almost immediately, you're greeted by the scent of lavender. Fresh, sweet, earthy. The fragrance drifts through the air with every passing breeze. You pause for a moment, taking it in, breathing slowly, allowing the scent to become part of the experience.

Senses Awake On The Path

SPEAKER_01

A narrow path winds between the rows of lavender. You begin walking. The gravel crunches softly beneath your feet. Bees hum lazily among the blossoms. Butterflies drift from flower to flower. A warm sunlight rests gently on your shoulders.

SPEAKER_00

The breeze keeps the air comfortable. Perfectly balanced.

SPEAKER_01

As you walk, your fingertips brush lightly against the lavender blooms. Soft petals, flexible stems, tiny blossoms releasing their fragrance into the air. Everywhere you look, there's purple and green, calming, peaceful, endless.

Dropping The To-Do List

SPEAKER_00

The farther you walk, the quieter your thoughts become. There's no schedule here. No list of things waiting to be done.

SPEAKER_01

No expectations. Just rows of lavender swaying gently beneath the summer sky. You notice how easily it feels to slow down. How natural it feels to move at a gentler pace. Perhaps you spend so much time caring for others, managing responsibilities, meeting expectations, holding everything together. And maybe just for these next few moments, you can set some of that down. Not forever, just for now. Ahead

Bench Rest And Self-Kindness

SPEAKER_01

you notice a large oak tree standing near the center of the farm. Beneath it sets a wooden bench, and you make your way towards it. You settle comfortably into the shade. The trees' branches sway softly overhead. The lavender fields stretch out before you. Not because you've earned it, not because you've completed everything on your list, simply because you are human, and humans need gentleness.

SPEAKER_00

Take a moment to reflect.

SPEAKER_01

What part of yourself could use a little more kindness today? Perhaps a worried part, a tired part, a grieving part, a frustrated part. Whatever comes to mind, simply acknowledge it without trying to fix it, without trying to change it, just meeting it with kindness.

SPEAKER_00

The afternoon drifts on.

SPEAKER_01

You are allowed to breathe. You are allowed to simply exist.

SPEAKER_00

Eventually, you stand from the bench, but before leaving, you gently gather a small bundle of lavender, just enough to carry the memory with you. A reminder of softness, a reminder of stillness, a reminder that you deserve kindness too.

SPEAKER_01

You begin walking back toward the gate, the scent of lavender lingering in the air, the afternoon sun warm against your skin, the blossoms swaying gently behind you.

SPEAKER_00

And as you step through the gate, the scene slowly fades.

Return To The Room Gently

SPEAKER_01

bringing awareness back to the room around you. Notice the support beneath you, the sounds around you, the feeling of air against your skin. Gently wiggle your fingers, your toes. Perhaps take a comfortable stretch. And before you continue with the rest of your day, consider this reflection. What part of yourself could use a little more gentleness today? Allow yourself to carry that question with you. Thank you for spending this time with me. Until next time, take gentle care of yourself, and I will meet you back here next week.
